banquets

Whether you’re planning a business meeting, wedding ceremony, or banquet, the Armstrong Hotel offers event facilities that are ideal for a range of group sizes and uses. Set in the heart of Old Town Fort Collins, our downtown location provides a convenient lodging and event venue from which to host your guests—and when they’re not busy attending your event, encourage them to explore the city’s best dining, shopping, and nightlife, all within walking distance of the hotel.

All three of our spaces offer the latest multimedia technology for your audiovisual needs, and complimentary wireless and high-speed internet connections. Flexible seating arrangements, a variety of linens and decorations, and various plated and buffet meal choices combine to make your event flawless, successful, and most importantly, memorable. We understand that every event is unique, and delight in working closely with you to plan your special occasion.

history

Recently opened in March 2010, Mantz Hall is the Armstrong Hotel’s newest event space. The rendering below shows the hall set for a wedding reception with a formal banquet seating configuration.

Matz Hall

about our event spaces
Mantz Hall
Named after Charles and Carolyn Mantz, who built the Armstrong Hotel in honor of Carolyn’s late father and Fort Collins pioneer Andrew Armstrong, Mantz Hall is the largest of our three event spaces. This 1060 square foot room is an ideal venue for conferences, corporate events, small wedding ceremonies, banquets, performances, and fundraisers. The hotel’s adjacent lounge, Ace Gillett’s, and the Chandler Post Conference Room can be used to create a multi-faceted event or to add separate break-out areas. Mantz Hall can accommodate up to 80 guests.
Chandler Post Conference Room
Named after Chandler Post, the Armstrong Hotel’s proprietor in the 1930s, this conference room not only functions as a site for meetings, workshops, and classes, but is also a complementary size for intimate dinners and small receptions. The Chandler Post Conference Room can accommodate up to 32 guests.
Bernard Levinger Boardroom
Named for a dear family member who played a major role in the Armstrong Hotel’s recent historic restoration, the Bernard Levinger Boardroom features a private setting for small groups of up to 10 guests. A large conference table and ergonomic seating provide a comfortable space for meetings, seminars, or even small bridal- or baby showers.

For more information about the Armstrong’s event facilities, please contact Missy Levinger at 970.484.3883 or by e-mail. Additionally, you may provide us with your event details using the form below.
