FoCoMX (Fort Collins Music Experiment) – April
Colorado’s largest live music event takes over Downtown Fort Collins each spring. This two-day festival (April 24th – 25th, 2026) features hundreds of Colorado bands and artists performing across dozens of venues, celebrating the city’s diverse music scene.
Colorado Marathon – May
The Colorado Marathon is one of the most scenic races in the country, winding through the beautiful Poudre Canyon in the Rocky Mountains and finishing in Fort Collins. Runners can register for the full marathon, half-marathon, 10k, and 5k on May 3, 2026.
Fort Collins Beer Week – June
Don’t miss out on Fort Collins Beer Week, taking place from June 22nd – 28th, 2026. This citywide celebration of local craft beer culture involves 20 participating breweries. You can expect educational talks, collaboration brews, tap takeovers, and plenty of good cheer.
FoCo Fondo – July
This high-energy gravel cycle event combines racing, adventure, and community. Riders of all skill levels join in for a day of open-range rides, food, drinks, and post-race festivities. It’s a true showcase of Fort Collins’s thriving bike community. This year’s event takes place July 16-19, 2026.
Tour de Fat – August
Tour de Fat is one of the city’s most iconic events. Hosted by Fort Collins’ own New Belgium Brewing Company, this celebration kicks off with a costumed bike parade followed by a lively party at the brewery featuring music, entertainment, games, and plenty of local beer. Poudre River Fest – August
This free, family-friendly festival celebrates the Poudre River, a vital local resource and recreation spot. The event features educational activities, live music, and interactive exhibits focused on river restoration, wildlife habitat, and sustainability. 2026 date TBA
Taste of Fort Collins – September
This legendary summer festival celebrates the best of Fort Collins and Northern Colorado, including businesses, food vendors, and local bands. It is a can’t-miss event for locals and visitors alike. Look forward to their lineup announcement in early spring!
Tour de Corgi – October
The annual Tour de Corgi is a Fort Collins favorite. Hundreds of costumed corgis parade through Old Town, creating quite the joyful spectacle. Be sure to stick around for the adorable costume contest. 2026 date TBA
