ROOM & CHECK-IN POLICIES
Check-in time is 3pm. Check-out time is 11am.
Published rates are based upon double occupancy and do not include applicable taxes. A $10.00 fee will be charged nightly, per additional adult.
Rooms are subject to maximum occupancy rules set by the Hotel. If you would like further details please contact the Hotel.
You must be at least 18 years of age to reserve, and check-in to, a room.
Children under 18 years of age stay free with an accompanied adult. All children under 16 years of age staying at the Hotel must be supervised by an adult at all times.
If a person has not been registered to a reservation, they will not be allowed to check-in unless accompanied by the guest. Guestroom keys will only be issued to a room’s registered guests.
Sofa beds and cots are available. However, these are limited and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply. Please check at the time of booking.
No gatherings and parties of any nature are permitted in a guestroom without express prior consent by Hotel Management. The hotel reserves the right to evict any unregistered occupants in a guestroom, if necessary.
A valid form of government-issued identification is required at check-in. A valid credit/debit card is also required upon check-in as guarantee for anticipated charges, unless otherwise coordinated in advance of your arrival. The Armstrong Hotel accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards
At check-in we will obtain an authorization to charge your debit card for the accommodation charges (room rate, and any applicable taxes) and anticipated incidentals for the duration of your stay. With Debit Cards, this is in effect, pre-payment for the room. All outstanding charges must be paid for in full on check-out from the hotel. The Armstrong Hotel will release unused credit authorizations upon check-out, but we cannot influence how quickly these changes will be reflected by your financial institution. Payment may be made by cash as well, in the presence of a valid credit card authorization, obtained at check-in.
The Armstrong Hotel is an entirely non-smoking facility. Smoking in guestrooms will result in a $200 cleaning fee.
Free Self-Parking is available on-site and adjacent to the hotel for hotel guests.
Some rooms and suites can accommodate pets, but are available only via phone reservations.
Pets shall remain within your control in hotel common areas at all times. Pets may remain alone in a guestroom so long as the pet is well-behaved. However, if your pet is disturbing other guests or causing damage, we will contact you to address the situation. Please contact Housekeeping to make arrangements for housekeeping services as we will not clean your room with your pet present, unless crated. There is a one-time $25 fee for cleaning purposes, however, if your room requires excessive cleaning, or if damages are incurred as a result of your pet’s actions, the hotel may charge for additional services and repairs.
The cancellation policy varies according to the rate and dates that are booked. Please refer to the individual full rate descriptions given at booking and provided on your reservation confirmation.
Standard Cancellation Policy
The standard cancellation policy allows modifications and cancellation without penalty up to 6:00 pm MST two days, or roughly 48 hours, prior to your scheduled arrival. There is a one-night penalty if a reservation is canceled within 48 hours of arrival. For reservations made inside the 48 hour window, a one-night penalty for cancellation becomes applicable at the time of booking.
Room reservations may be modified to a different arrival date within 48 hours of scheduled arrival, but are subject to a one-night penalty if subsequently cancelled.
Special Event weekends, such as CSU home football games and New West Fest are subject to more stringent cancellation and deposit policies.
Reservations may be modified or cancelled without penalty if cancelled or modified more than two weeks prior to scheduled arrival. Prepayment for the booking will be taken 14 days prior to arrival. For one night stays, the entire prepayment will be non-refundable. For stays of two or more nights, two nights charges’ will be non-refundable; the balance of any deposit will be released upon cancellation.
Room reservations may be modified within 14 days of arrival, subject to the pre-payment restrictions noted above, and availability.
CSU Graduation Weekend
Bookings for this high demand period in May require complete prepayment at the time of booking. Reservations may be cancelled or modified (subject to availability and length of stay requirements) without penalty prior to April 1st. Deposits are non-refundable thereafter.

ADDITIONAL Hotel POLICIES
Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with Company procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the Hotel, its employees and guests, and their health and safety. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Hotel, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or to remove you and members of your party from the Hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case, the hotel shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
Your booking is for a category of room in the Hotel and does not guarantee that you will be able to stay in a specific room or in the same room for the duration of your stay. If you have indicated a preference for a particular room by noting a special request during booking, we will use all reasonable efforts to honor this preference. However, we may need to allocate an alternative room to you for operational or safety reasons. If we need to move you to a different room during your booking for which a lower rate is available than the rate you booked at, we will refund you the difference in the rates.
The Armstrong Hotel will not collect any personally-identifiable information about you (e.g., your name, address, telephone number or email address (“personal data”)) through our websites unless you have provided it to us voluntarily. If you do not want your personal data collected, please do not submit it to us.
When you do provide us with personal data, we may use that information in the following ways, unless stated otherwise: we may store and process that information to better understand your needs and how we can improve our products and services; we (or a third party on our behalf or in connection with a promotion) may use that information to contact you; and/or we may provide other third parties with aggregate – but not individual – information about visitors to or users of our site. We do not now and do not currently intend to sell, rent or market personal data about you to third parties. Like we said, we know your privacy is important.
In some cases, we may automatically (i.e., not via registration) collect technical information when you connect to our site that is not personally-identifiable. Examples of this type of information include the type of Internet Browser you are using, the type of computer operating system you are using and the domain name of the website from which you linked to our site.
When you view our website, we may store some information on your computer. This information will be in the form of a “Cookie” or similar file and can help us in many ways. For example, Cookies allow us to tailor a website to better match your interests and preferences.
