What’s the best way to celebrate fall? Come to Fort Collins of course! Northern Colorado has some extra special (and extra secret!) activities when autumn comes. Here’s a list of some of the best things to do in Fort Collins in the fall.
Bartels Pumpkin Farm
Where: 3424 E. Douglas Road, Fort Collins
Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. everyday from September 23 – October 31 (weather-permitting). The Bartels Farm pumpkin patch offers free admission, parking and pumpkins starting at $1. While you’re there, take a ride on the hay tractor, check out the corn maze and pet the family goats!
Tiny Tot Halloween Parade
Where: Old Town, Fort Collins
The annual Tiny Tot Halloween parade is held on October 31st at 10AM. Children under seven years old and their parents/guardians are invited to join the Downtown merchants for a safe trick-or-treating experience in Downtown Fort Collins. Be sure to dress accordingly (costumes get more candy!), and stop by The Armstrong for some spooky treats!
Fritzler Farm Park Fall Festival

Pumpkins, corn mazes, hay rides and much more! The Fritzler Farm Park Fall Festival is open September 17 – October 29 on select days. There are great attractions for kids, including their corn maze, obstacle course, train ride and face painting, and the older kids will enjoy Scream Acres – the ultra scary corn maze experience – while the adults enjoy the Beer Garden and other delicious treats.

9th Annual Tour de Corgi

Come out and see some pampered pooches strut their stuff in Old Town! The Annual Tour de Corgi is a parade packed with costumed Corgis and their owners. This event also features a Corgi meetup, vendors, and a costume contest. The perfect way to ring in the fall!
Pumpkins On Parade
Where: The Gardens On Spring Creek
The fourth annual Pumpkins on Parade is a fun-for-all-ages celebration of Halloween and the harvest, featuring hundreds of pumpkins and gourds arranged across The Gardens in artistic displays and festive activities for the whole family! The 2023 display theme is Mythical and Magical Garden Creatures. The event will feature a full bar and festive, kid-friendly games such as pumpkin bowling, live entertainment, a Community Carved Pumpkin Contest and more!
