We named this boardroom after Chandler Post, the Armstrong’s original proprietor (you can find his portrait in our lobby). It’s an ideal event space for meetings, workshops or private dinners.
Mantz Hall was named in homage to Charles and Carolyn Mantz, former owners and builders of the Armstrong Hotel. The largest of our event spaces, Mantz Hall is a great room for large groups, such as meetings, receptions, or wedding events. (It’s adjacent to Ace Gillett’s, so if you need lots of space, you can book both venues to host an even bigger occasion.)
If you want a memorable event or party (and who doesn’t?) Ace Gillett’s is, well, Aces. With a speakeasy feel, it has an authentic, historic atmosphere, including warm, rich leather and woods, a custom-made polished marble bar top, crystal glassware built-in stage, and a variety of seating options. Our dedicated meeting planner can help you with any detail, from food to flowers to entertainment choices or decor. It’s adjacent to Mantz Hall, so if you need extra room for your meeting or event, you can book both spaces.
