Looking for the best breakfast in Fort Collins? We've got you covered.

All you need to do is decide if you want to walk, bike, or drive.

If you’re looking for a place to eat breakfast while you’re in Fort Collins, there are a lot of great restaurants to choose from.

Breakfast Next Door

No matter what time you’d like to head out to breakfast, downtown Fort Collins has lots of options to choose from!

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

Snooze opens at 6:30am and will tempt you with their Funky Monkey French Toast or Barbacoa Chile Verde Benedict.

Silver Grill

The Silver Grill opens at 7:00am and it doesn’t take long for tables to fill. They’re famous for their cinnamon rolls (giant or mini) or hearty chicken fried steak and eggs.

Little Bird Bake Shop

If you’re ready for a lighter start to your morning, wait for Little Bird to open at 8:00am. This quaint coffee shop with its French flair will entice you with a delectable display of pastries, croissants, and muffins, all made from scratch.

Ace Cafe

Of course, our very own Ace Café is the shortest walk if you’ve gotten up after 9:00am. Our brunch menu items are available all day, and include favorites like the WAFNUT (think waffle-donut). On the weekends, enjoy seasonal live music on the patio. Pair your favorite dish with a mimosa and you’ll have a great start to the day!

Breakfast by Bike

Check out a complimentary bicycle from the front desk, then ride a little outside of downtown for other great breakfast places.

Lucile’s Creole Cafe

Lucile’s is just a few blocks from the Armstrong. If you ask any local about this place, they’ll tell you to not miss the beignets (New Orleans style donuts) and quaint atmosphere! Lucile’s Creole-inspired dishes provide flavorful options for breakfast. The cafe is inside a historical home so you feel like you’re just dropping in for a family meal.

Rainbow Restaurant

Just a short ride south down Mason Street is the Rainbow Restaurant. This family-owned restaurant has been around for over 40 years. You can find traditional menu items plus vegetarian and vegan options. Try their homemade Pumpkin Bread French Toast with butter rum sauce and whip cream. Yum!

Back Porch Cafe

An easy bike ride east of downtown will take you to the Back Porch Cafe. This is a local favorite for homemade quiche, biscuits and gravy, or a smothered breakfast burrito. Sit on their ‘back porch’ for a relaxing outdoor meal.

Breakfast in the City

If you have plans for the day and want to eat breakfast before you head out of town, here are three popular choices around town.

Rise! A Breakfast Place

Sometimes you can find the best restaurants tucked away in neighborhood shopping areas. Rise! has special breakfast items such as frittatas, baked pancakes, and delicious eggs benedict choices. They also have gluten-free options, even on the kids’ menu.

First Watch

First Watch serves up traditional breakfast dishes, but is also passionate about their healthier side like their A.M. Superfoods Bowl, Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl or try specialty items such as an egg dish called Chickichanga topped with a Vera Cruz sauce.

The Original Pancake House

If you have a craving for pancakes or crepes, then drive east on Harmony Road to The Original Pancake House. They have Hawaiian Pancakes, PB Banana Chip Pancakes, Georgia Pecan pancakes, and lots of other choices. The crepe choices are just as delicious with cherries, banana praline, or chocolate strawberry.

Are you hungry? We sure are! You might want to spend an extra night in Fort Collins just so you can stay another morning for breakfast!
