NewWestFest Fort Collins

The 2018 festival will take place Aug. 10, 11 and 12. The annual festival is co-produced by Downtown Fort Collins Business Association and Bohemian Nights and is one of the biggest and best festivals of the year. Entire blocks are dedicated to merchant booths, street performers, delicious food and lots of fun. The festival features 80+ Colorado bands on six stages of entertainment, including headliner performances on the main stage each night; more than 250 specialty, art and food booths; and a family-centered Kids’ Music Adventure and Kids’ World area. This is one music festival you won’t want to miss!

“Bohemian Nights at New West Fest is a free, high-quality music festival that showcases our historic downtown as a premiere destination, shares the power of live music and cultivates artistic culture in Northern Colorado. Over 80 Colorado bands are featured among dozens of food vendors, 150+ art and craft vendors and two different family friendly themed areas: Bohemian Nights Kid Music Adventure and the DBA’s Kid’s World, both located in the Southwest corner of Library Park. The production of this event is a collaboration between the Downtown Fort Collins Business Association & Bohemian Nights.”

Civic Center Parking Structure: $1/hour, first hour free.

Old Town Parking Structure: $1/hour, first hour free – open access from Remington Street.

Oak/Remington Lot: free 2 hour parking – open access from Remington Street.

The MAX Rapid Transit bus line will be operating on Sunday.

Cruiser bikes: available at the front desk.

Mathews Street (Oak Street to Magnolia Street)
Olive Street (Remington Street to Peterson Street)
Peterson Street (Mountain Avenue to Oak Street)
Library Park “closed” starting at 5:00 am for festival preparations and stage build

Friday, Aug. 10 – Street closures (4:00 a.m.):

Chestnut Street (Mountain Avenue to Jefferson Street)
Walnut Street (Linden Street to Mountain Avenue)
Mountain Avenue (College Street to Mathews Street)
Remington St. (Mountain Avenue to just north of parking garage entrance)
Mathews Street (Mountain Avenue to Oak Street)
Oak Street (Remington Street to Peterson Street)
Festival/Concert Hours: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Security staff will patrol the festival grounds and monitor the area overnight between festival open hours of operation

Saturday, Aug. 11 – Street closures (4:00 a.m.):

Linden Street (Walnut Street to Jefferson Street)
Walnut Street (College Street to Linden Street)
- Business Access to remain open; signage placed accordingly
- Soft closure at College with a u-turn for traffic located near Curiosities
- Closed to allow for bike rack load-in and staging of bike parking area
On-street parking spot closures: 4 parking spots reserved on the east side of Remington St., just south of the Remington & E. Oak St. intersection (artist parking/load-in)
Festival Hours: 10:00 am – 10:00 pm
Concert Hours: 11:00 am – 10:00 pm

Sunday, Aug. 12 – No additional street closures
