Looking to plan your next visit? Wondering what’s happening in Old Town? Or just searching for the best cocktail in town (the Ruby So New at Ace Gillett’s of course). Our crew loves to share their local insight on what makes Fort Collins so special.
This week's portrait tribute is dedicated to the legend Ace Gillett - a passionate businessman involved in many hospitality ventures in Fort Collins in addition to owning and operating The Armstrong Hotel.
Our first tribute is to Andrew Armstrong, the man our historic hotel is named after. Mr. Armstrong was Fort Collins pioneer in the early 1900s.
We are thrilled to announce that The Armstrong Hotel was just voted the #1 Best Hotel In Northern Colorado in the 2020 “Readers’ Choice Best Of NOCO” survey!
Our most favorite neighborhood spots (maybe we’re a little bias), Ace Gillett’s Lounge & Supper Club and the newest edition, Ace Café, have some exciting things lined up this fall that we’re happy to share with you.
We are excited to announce that we are open and ready to welcome you home. Your favorite restaurants, shops and adventures are reopening safely across Old Town. Summer is here and the Armstrong Hotel is the perfect location for your next escape.
It’s 1923. Glittery frocks, cotton worsted trousers and full vest suits are “in”, and despite the nation’s downturn from The Great Depression, former military post of Fort Collins, Colorado is doing surprisingly well.
